Apartment prices in Tallinn grew by 9.3%

In March 2013, the average cost per square meter of apartments in Tallinn was €1,219, which is 9.3% more than in March 2012, according to The Baltic Course with reference to the Estonian Land Board.

The number of transactions remained at the level of March 2012. Only in March 2013 in Tallinn was concluded 559 transactions apartments totaling €40.1 million, and outside the capital - 731 transactions for a total amount of €21 million (€508,6 / m2).

In March 2013, the average cost per square meter of real estate in Estonia was 29.4% below the peak performance in 2007.

According to others, property in Tallinn has risen by 2.3% in March 2013 compared to February 2013 and by 8.3% - compared to March 2012, says the real estate price index Ober-Haus.

The largest growth in real estate prices recorded in Haabersti (11.8%) and Lasnamäe (7.4%). In Kriystine housing prices fell by 8.6%.
