According to euroweeklynews.com, a proportion of expats in a property market on the Costa Cálida in Murcia was 21.2%. 11,040 property transactions were concluded in 2014 (+11.9% y-o-y), out of which 2,338 with foreigners (+11.4%, compared to 2013).

The Costa Cálida is the 250 km stretch of Mediterranean coast in the Spanish autonomous community of Murcia between the autonomous communities of Valencia and Andalusia.
