The Costa Cálida attracts more foreign property buyers

According to euroweeklynews.com, a proportion of expats in a property market on the Costa Cálida in Murcia was 21.2%. 11,040 property transactions were concluded in 2014 (+11.9% y-o-y), out of which 2,338 with foreigners (+11.4%, compared to 2013).

In 2014, an average transaction in Murcia amounted to €94,110. For this money you can buy, for example, a townhouse with three bedrooms in Torre-Pacheco

For comparison, in 2014, 54,059 objects were sold in in Valencia region (+10.3%), 35% out of which – by foreigners. Expat share exceeded 50% on the Costa Blanca in Alicante.

The volume of investments in all types of real estate in the region of Murcia in 2014 amounted to approximately €1.039 billion.

The Costa Cálida is the 250 km stretch of Mediterranean coast in the Spanish autonomous community of Murcia between the autonomous communities of Valencia and Andalusia.
