Distance to Geneva - 10-12 minutes drive and up to 20 minutes to the international airport.
The territory is 1600 meters. The terrace surrounds the house. There is a garage for 2 cars in the territory, and a studio apartment upon it.
Broad entrance can place 6-7 cars (a guest parking).
The house is located in a cozy quiet place. On one side the beautiful view of the mountain Salev (part of of the French Alps ridge), on the other side a view on agricultural grounds. Neighbors are only from 2 sides. Good open places for walks and bicycle rides.
On the other hand, all infrastructure - shops, a bakery (fresh croissants), mail, bank and so on are quite near - 5-7 minutes on foot.
Unlike Geneva with changeable weather, where the sky is often closed by clouds, and in winter icy winds are blowing from the lake, in Beaumont the winds are rare as they are blocked by the Salev mountain, and here sunny days are more often than down in Geneva. The shopping center MIGROS and a huge VITAM aquapark (http://www.vitam.fr/) are 5 minutes drive.
About the house
The house is built in the loft style and it means a lot of air and light. High ceilings, pure lines, free zoning. Walls are plastered and painted in white color The floor is made of natural stone.
People with delicate taste will appreciate open space and character of the house
Neutrality and some kind of incompleteness of interior finish allow to give some individual traits to the house by several details, to adjust it to one's own taste. Both antique furniture and modernist or hi-tech will look here equally stylish.
Rez-de-chausse / 1st floor
Directly from the entrance to the house we can get to the small hall and further to the kitchen. This is a large open zone including the kitchen, the dining room and the living room. The open kitchen is completely equipped. There is even a small store-room for stocks.
The marble finishing table is not only beautiful, but also it is convenient. It can be used not only for cooking, but also as a bar counter at which it is pleasant to drink some coffee.
In the same level with the kitchen there is a dining room for 8-10 persons, a beautiful view is seen from the windows of the dining room.
A small corridor to the right of the entrance leads to the separate bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with both a shower and triangular bath. There is a pass from the bathroom to a spacious bedroom with a built-in wardrobe and a dresser, and the most part of the room is occupied by a king size bed. From the room there is an exit to the terrace.
The heart of the house — very spacious and beautiful living room room. The living room unites and connects all other rooms.
This is the place where the the most part of the life of the hosts goes on. Family holidays, meeting guests, companionship and relaxing at the fireplace – it's all here.
This large open space can be easily divided by furniture into some zones.
SPA area
The pool inside is an incarnate dream of many people. At all seasons of the year it is possible to begin morning with a cheerfulness charge.18 meters pool allows to swim quite fully.
The pool depth is from 1.5 to 2 meters. It's very pleasant to come up from the cool pool and to plunge into a raging hot jacuzzi even if snow lies outside.
One can get to the sauna by a small spiral staircase directly from a pool zone.
There is a bathroom near the sauna.
Contrary to the popular belief that the pool in the house is a dampness source, the correct waterproofing fixes any problems of the kind.
The asement floor
In the basement near the sauna it is possible to equip a fine fitness studio (28 sq.m) and in the room nearby (26 sq.m) it is possible to equip a small bar or to put a billiard table or a ping-pong table.
From there one can get to a well isolated room (32 sq.m) which can be used as a music room or home cinema.
Sound insulation here is so good that such loud sounds do not disturb anybody in the house. You can arrange disco or rehearsal of a jazz band without risking to disturb the child's dream on the 2nd floor.
Well, and, of course, there is a wine cellar in the basement.
Because you can't imagine a French house without good wine cellar!
The 2nd floor / Etage
Having risen to the 2nd floor we are in the small (10,5 sq.m) attic with a balcony to the living room.
From there one can get to the study (13 sq.m), and to 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is big (35 sq.m), the other is smaller (20 sq.m).
In both bedrooms there are built-in wardrobes, bathrooms and a toilets.
In the basement there is also a laundry with washing and drying machines, and, of course, all heating systems and the pool service systems.
