French minister owes the rent so much that lost his post

French trade minister Thomas Thévenoud was freshly fired after appointment and immediately expelled from the Socialist Party of France. It turned out that he willfully evaded high French taxes, and for three years did not pay for renting an apartment on the upmarket Left Bank of Paris, the ee24.com reports citing The Local.

Thévenoud told the Le Canard Enchaine newspaper his sclerosis was "administrative phobia", but he has already paid debts for rent apartments in Paris and moved to a new location.

Such illegal actions of socialist Thévenoud were a serious blow to the socialist government of the current President of France, Francois Hollande. In this case, the debtor does not intend to resign from parliament, although he has lost the party ticket.
