French experts have created a map, where the fixed cost per square meter, depending on the Metro. "We evaluated the sales in a radius of 300 meters around the metro stations in Paris and 500 meters - in the suburbs. These data will be updated every month," said Sebastien de Lafond, General Director of MeilleursAgents, to the French newspaper Monde.
This map will allow investors to "rapidly determine where would be best to buy a property in Paris," the spokesman MeilleursAgents added.
For example, a square meter of housing near line 1 (Château de Vincennes / La Défense) costs an average of €9,169. The most reasonable prices for this central line of the Paris metro are close to the La Défense (92) (€5,463 / m2). Thus one of the most expensive stations is Champs Elysees Clemenceau (€13,198 / m2).
Line 13 (Saint-Denis, Asnieres, Gennevilliers / Châtillon, Montrouge) combines two extremes: one of the most expensive stations - Invalides (€14,221 / m²) and one of the available stations - Saint-Denis Université (93) (€2,996 / m²).
Also the most expensive stations are Solférino (€14,033 / m²) and the Rue du Bac (€13,958 / m²).
The difference in price is the lowest in the small line 3bis (Porte Des Lilas / Gambetta), where the most expensive station is Gambetta (€6,787 / m2) and the least expensive is Port-de-Leela (€5,932 / m²).
