The former laundry Goossens will be given a new destination and will be upgraded to a place where it is pleasant to live.
The old industrial site in the Eikelstraat, which is part of a sought-after residential area in Oud Berchem, will be transformed into a residential project with about 80 town houses and apartments. The transformation is done with respect for what once was and with the preservation of a number of authentic elements such as the factory chimney, old walls, concrete facades and more.
