About the project
In Deurne in the inner area at Eksterlaar there will be a cohousing project with 23 homes and apartments. You live in a quiet neighborhood in the green outskirts of Antwerp. You will find the Boekenberg Park with a swimming pond within walking distance. Do you want to stay in the center of Antwerp? No problem. You live within cycling distance of Berchem Station and the bustling city of Antwerp.
The residents' group worked out a beautiful project together with the architects. There is a nice mix of small and larger apartments and also family houses, resulting in a diverse group. Many shared spaces are also provided: a coworking, a lounge, a meeting room with a spacious kitchen and play corner, a laundry room, a guest room and studio. You can also spontaneously meet each other in the large shared garden. It will also be an ecological construction project with very well insulated homes, ventilation with heat recovery and underfloor heating with ground source heat pumps.
