In spite of Hitler. The dictator's house will be given for migrants' needs

House in Austria, the birthplace of dictator Adolf Hitler, is planned to be used as a language school and center for migrants' support. This decision was made by mutual agreement of the owner of the building and the Austrian Interior Ministry, writes portal ee24.com citing thelocal.at.

In the center of a small Austrian town of Braunau am Inn there is a house where the dictator was born in 1889. Despite the fact that the building is privately owned and rented out, the Interior Ministry is closely following its inhabitants: the government fears that one of them may turn out a neo-Nazi fanatic. Therefore, the building was never residential: it housed a library, then the bank, then college, and then workshop for mentally handicapped workers.

During the past few years, the building was empty until the owner and authorities argued about the future of this historic house. Finally, it seems, they found the perfect way to use it, which would never be approved by its most famous tenant: the building will become a center for migrants' support.
