ID: 12522 Woolworth Building - one of the first skyscrapers in New York, which appeared on Broadway at the beginning of the last century. Built in 1913, the tower reaches a height of 241.2 meters. Until the completion of the Manhattan Bank Building and the Chrysler Building in 1930, the Woolworth Building was the tallest building in the world. The skyscraper has a three-story stone foundation, fifty-two floors clad in terracotta and a three-story roof covered with a crown-shaped top. The observation deck on the 58th floor attracted approximately 100,000 visitors annually, but was closed in 1945.
