Three major shopping streets of Istanbul were the European leaders in the rental prices growth in 2014, according to the survey of Cushman & Wakefield. The total leased area of its territory is 17,500 sq.m.
One of the main streets of the largest Turkish city, İstiklal in the central Beyoğlu district, showed the largest increase in rental prices in Europe – 27.3%, followed by Bağdat Avenue (24.4%) on the Asian side in the areas of Kadıköy, Maltepe and Kartal, and Abdi Ipekçi Avenue (20.9%) in Şişli district on the European side.
