The cheapest house in Sweden is up for sale for €3,200

A mansion in Sweden is up for sale for low price. The unique object is located in a small village of Ingatorp in the Eksjö municipality, and it's probably the cheapest house in the country. Its price is 30,000 Swedish kronor (about €3,200), which corresponds to the average salary in Sweden. It's cheaper than one square meter in Stockholm.

The total area of the house is about 400 sq.m, as reported by expressen.se and thelocal.se. A local real estate broker Roger Karlsson said that he has been receiving about 65-70 applications from different regions during the day.

"There are woodwork and charm. The only things missing are love and care. And a fat wallet", broker Roger Karlsson said.

At different times this house, built in circa 1850, was a hat and stationery stores, as well as a watchmaker workshop. Presumably, the renovated house will be a tourist hostel or a shop. Ingatorp village with approx. 450 inhabitants is located a half-hour drive by car from Vimmerby and an amusement park of Astrid Lindgren's World.
