In Belgrade 3 million sq.m of office space is empty

In recent years, Belgrade marked a distinct lack of commercial real estate. A number of projects to restore the balance was started, but the results exceeded expectations. According to Goran kinsman, a representative of Building and Industrial Chamber of Serbia, now up to 70% of office space in Belgrade are idle without tenants.

Best of all things are in Stari Grad, where 120,000 sq.m of commercial space are leased to 98%, which brings the annual income of €7.88 million. The city of Belgrade owns 260,000 square meters of space, which brings an income of €3.5 million per year.
