Bran Castle, better known as Dracula's Castle, once again is put up for sale for $ 66 million. In 2014 the owners have already made an attempt to sell probably the most famous castle in Transylvania for all the same $ 66 million. They didn't receive any offers that time.
The castle was built in 1226 as a military fortress, and in the late 19th century with a help of Romanian writer Bram Stoker became the residence of his literary hero vampire Dracula.
In 2007, the castle was returned by the state to the descendants of the Habsburg dynasty. Today the castle is one of the most visited attractions in the surrounding area of Brasov, taking up to 560 thousand tourists a year.
In the castle there are 57 bedrooms, and there is no sewage system and water supply.
