Prices for new and previously built apartments in Romania are by 56% lower than the height of the market, which was in spring of 2008, when the sq.m was worth €2,058.
In Bucharest, all types of apartments decreased in prices of about 55-56% . Studios and one-room flats go for €1,108 per sq.m in new buildings and €1,061 per sq.m in old buildings. Two-room apartments in Bucharest are respectively €1,142 and €1,041 per sq.m, and three-room - €1,230, and €988 per sq.m.
In Constanta prices fell by 46-48%, to €832-883 per sq.m. In Brasov - by 43-47%, to €802-821 per sq.m. In Timisoara - by 37-44%, to €785-870 per sq.m.
