Dutch property has been increasing in price

In June, prices in the secondary housing market in the Netherlands jumped by 2.2% in relation to last year and returned to the level of the early 2013th, reports ee24.com citing the Central Bureau of Statistics.

It is worth noting that after years of falling by the crisis, property prices in the Netherlands began to grow again only in 2014, but still a small price increase is rather an evidence of market's entry into the stabilization phase. Prices for detached homes are still by 23.8% less, and for townhouses - by 16.5% less than in 2008.

Looking at the data for the second quarter as a whole, we can say that the prices have increased at an annualized rate of 1.2%, the most in the province of Noord-Holland (+2.3%). As for the largest cities, the greatest growth was recorded in Rotterdam (+4.1%), Amsterdam (+3.5%), Utrecht (+3.1%) and Hague (+1.6%).

Recall that in the first five months of 2014 the average price of residential real estate sold in the Netherlands amounted to €217,500.
