LOCATION
Both houses are situated on a very quiet cul-de-sac on the slopes of the Pratomagno. The mountain is opposite the Chianti. Close to the house you can find nice walks through forests – one takes you to a cold plunge large rock pool, waterfalls and fast moving streams cascading over rocks. You can walk to an old Monastery or even to the top of the mountain. You rarely see anyone else walking.
Both houses have delightful views across the valley until Reggello, Figline, San Giovanni and Montevarchi. Fireworks at midnight on New Year’s Eve can be seen all over the valley – an amazing sight.
There are stunning medieval villages to visit across the mountain road – the road of seven bridges to places such as delightful Loro Cuffenna.
The Mall –25 minutes away.
Pian di Scò – local shops, supermarkets, banks 10 minutes
Figline Valdarno – ancient churches, hairdressers etc… There is also an enormous Coop supermarket which caters for all needs, and has foreign newspapers. From here the train to Florence – 25 minutes
