Rents are falling in Ireland

According to figures of daft.ie portal the cost of renting property in Ireland fell by 0,7% in 2011. Average rent rates stands at 821 euros per month. However, prices vary in its changes - in rural areas they are falling, while in large cities, grow up.

For example, rents in the counties of Limerick and Waterford fell by 2,4%, in Galway – by 1,2%. However, the price of rent in Dublin increased by 0,3 %, in Cork by 2,6%. Due to the fact that in recent years construction volumes in the country declined sharply, the number of houses and apartments rented decreased by 5,7% compared to the previous year.
