Plot of land with area of 162 hectares (roughly speaking, 1,300*1,300 meters) was put up for sale near Dublin for €220 million. New owner will be able to transform those fields into a new suburb of the Irish capital, writes ee24.com citing bloomberg.com.
Real Estate in Dublin now is worth its weight in gold. For the year, prices rose by 22%, because there are a lot of people wanting to buy, while the number of offers is not enough. To meet the needs 10,000 new homes per year must be build in Dublin, while the actual figure is only 1,600.
Solution to the problem is in the development of suburban land. On the plot for sale there will appear 37.8 thousand sq.m of retail space, 220 thousand sq.m of offices, as well as more than 3,800 homes.
