Public ferry will be launched in Budapest

Public ferry service between the bridge Rakoczy on the south and Uypshet in the Northern part of the city will be launched in Budapest July on 1th July.

Passengers will be able to use monthly and day ticket for the boat, which will run every 20 minutes during rush hours. One trip will be set at 1-3 euros.

The combined length of the route with eight stops will be 45-60 minutes. On ships will be wi - fi access, as well as food and drinks.

Passengers will be able to take on bicycles. In the long term, the boat will be replaced by the new ferry catamaran, which will be bought by the EU.
