About the project
We are very proud that DANUBIO is the first Hungarian residential property in Hungary to meet the stringent sustainability requirements set by the independent British Building Research Institute's environmentally conscious building certification system. With this achievment we've joined a platform with international developments such as the 13-17 White Hart Lane in London, or the Villa Moraira in Alicante.
As architects, we work with spaces. We create new living spaces in already existing, living environment while affecting the ecosystem around us. This is a great responsibility and we must respect the task ahead of us. DANUBIO was born in this spirit. The consequence of everything that defines one of Budapest's most extraordinary sites will be part of the living tissue of trees, waters and the city.
DANUBIO evokes the classic Danube atmosphere. You can take pleasant walks on the coastal promenade or enjoy the carefree undulating Danube while relaxing on the benches.
We also provide daily recreation for our residents who are lovers of boating and water sports, as the harbor on the coastal promenade can be reached in a few minutes.
The eco-green corridor of the Rákos stream lining the southern side of the site is renewed, so whether you are coming from Váci út or Népfürdő utca, thanks to the public park and recreational developments, you can easily leave the bustling city behind, either on foot or arriving by car.
The safety of the tree-lined eco-corridor will not be lost even when we arrive, as the enclosed garden surrounding the building will provide tremendous green space and a playground.
