Emir of Qatar bought Greek Islands for his family

Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani has spent half a year on the paperwork to get the ownership of the six inhabited islands of Greece in Ionian Sea, The Guardian reported. Former owner Dennis Grivas, whose family owned islands 150 years, was looking for a buyer for 40 years. His dream has come true to sell unneeded property by the Emir of Qatar. One of the richest men in the world have paid him $11 million.

The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, 61, is going to turn a group of six islands in the Echinades chain in personal resort for his family of three wives and 24 children.
