The crisis is increasing: if initially those who wanted to buy cheap property in Greece were disappointed as initially the owners weren't in no hurry to cut prices - now at the price of the house you can buy your own Greek hotel.
Among the hotels already offered for sale is for example the four star Hotel Vatera Beach on Lesvos, one of the best on the island. Its starting price is € 1 350 000, and annual income is declared from € 50 000 to € 100 000.
Prices start from € 250 000. The hotels are located throughout the country: for example, 106 of them - in Macedonia, 66 on Crete, 53 on the Ionian Islands, including Zakynthos and Lefkada.
Thus, more than 5% of all Greek hotels are put up for sale due to financial difficulties.
