Johnny Depp says goodbye to France: memories are for sale for € 23 mln.

One of the most desirable men in the world, the indefatigable Captain Jack Sparrow, Johnny Depp never ceases to engage the attention of the press: break up with Vanessa Paradis (they never were married in spite of 14 years together), a sensational wedding with Amber Heard, failing the latest film projects, loud statements in the press. Johnny was and remains an ideal newsmaker.

At the time, having lost his head from the French actress and singer  Vanessa Paradis, Depp fell in love not only with  the woman but also with the country - he purchased an abandoned land not far from Saint-Tropez, in the village of Plan de la Tour. In restoring nearly destroyed buildings of the 18th century Depp has invested more than € 10 mln., the village was reduced by his own project without the involvement of famous designers.

Today the estate of Depp really looks like an ordinary French village: on the main square stands the church (turned into a guest house), a restaurant with professional kitchen, which Depp with his family used as a dining room, workshop, garage and laundry room. Despite the numerous restoration works, it has been preserved stone masonry, brick floors and wood beams in most buildings.

One of the rooms in the main house is made in the style of "Pirates of the Caribbean" - the film, that brought Depp a huge popularity and record royalties. Also on the territory of the estate there are two swimming pools, gym and skate park with halfpipe built for Jack and Lily-Rose, the couple's children. Also there is  a number of guest houses and houses for staff there.

Thus, Depp is clearly trying to definitively turn the page in its history with Paradis.

Johnny Depp's estate  is situated not far from the castle, owned by another famous Hollywood couple - Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
