French spend half of their salary for housing

At least 23% of residents’ of France income spending for rent payments, which is 616 euros per month, and a third of the population pay for housing 45% of its budget. These data were obtained in terms of population survey, organized by OpinionWay. 957 people, aged 18 years, took part in the survey.

Obvious difference is in housing costs those who have their own apartment, and those who rent housing. Thus, those who rent apartments spend 35% of their income on rent, and those who have their own housing pays only 15% (utility bills and taxes). One third of population believes that 45% of their budget should be planned for housing costs.
