Jeanna Yaroshuk, the wife of the mayor of Kaliningrad Alexander Yaroshuk, built a villa on the Cote d'Azur, but forgot to specify it and land in France in the declaration. Following the publication of an article in the newspaper "Kommersant" a mistake has been fixed, but the residue remained. The mayor began to make excuses, that his wife is a businesswoman, and "the size of her annual revenue is 20-26 million rubles," so she can purchase a property in France.
It turned out that his wife registered non-profit organization Societe Civile Immobiliere (SCI) Montfleury with capital of €100 in Cannes on December 16, 2009. The purpose of such organizations is the use and rental of real estate. Housing cooperative on the Cote d'Azur, accodring to the Kaliningrad's mayor, is owning his wife (Jeanna Yaroshuk) and mother-in-law (Nina Bobrik).
"Form of statement of earnings of the municipal employee in accordance with the federal law does not imply the declaration of interests in non-profit organizations", said Alexander Yaroshuk.
Area of villa with swimming pool is 160 square meters, and the land - 1000 sq. m. Three-storey house is located in Cannes on Avenue Isola Bella, where the average cost per square meter is €5,600. Moscow realtors estimate Yaroshuk's villa to €1.5-3.5 million.
