The most expensive rental housing – in Helsinki

In 2012, the average rent per square meter in the whole of Finland was €11,98 per month, which is 3.8% more than in 2011. The highest growth of rental apartment buildings was recorded in the Greater Helsinki (4.7%, €15.33 per month per square meter). In the rest of Finland rent increased by 3.2% (€10.36).

According to the Statistical Office of Finland, the rise in rent was 4.4% in Espoo, Vantaa - 3.8%, Tampere - 2.6%, Jyväskylä - 2.9%, Turku - 3.2%, Lahti - 3.4%, Kuopio - 4.2%.
