Housing prices in Finland declined slightly in September

Prices in the secondary market of apartment buildings and townhouses declined over the period from August to September by 0.4%, in the Greater Helsinki prices went up by 0.2% and in the rest of the country fell by 0.8%, according to ee24.com with reference on stat.fi.

Statistics Finland conducted a study of 40% of all real estate transactions in the country and noted that during the year, prices for second homes in the country grew by 0.6%. In Greater Helsinki the prices rose by 2.9%, while in the rest of the country decreased by 1.2%.

Resale in Finland in September was worth €2,170 per sq.m. In Greater Helsinki the price was €3,520, and in the rest of the country - €1,640.
