Half of the buyers of property in many cities of Estonia are foreigners. Foreign investors actively buy housing in Ida-Viru County(50% share of foreigners), Kohtla-Jarve (47%), Narva (40%), reported dv.ee referring to the review by real estate company Pindi Kinnisvara.
Diametrically opposite situation is observed in Estonian capital -Tallinn, where the number of foreign buyers in the first two months of 2013 was only 11%. In comparison, the share of foreign capital in the property market in Kuressaare is 5% of the total number of transactions, in Pärnu - 6%.
