The Ober-Haus reports that in June 2013 apartments in Estonia rose by 0.2%, while the price increase for the year was 12.2%. The number of transactions on the contrary decreased by 23% compared to May 2013 and by 2% compared to last year.
Despite the rapid rise in prices, which attracts foreign investors, the real estate market didn't reach the pre-crisis level.
The average price per square meter in June was €1,200. Apartment in Tartu can be bought for €1,000 per sq. m., in Pärnu - €810, in Narva - €395.
