Restoring of the Danish market continues

Property prices in Denmark rose for the second consecutive month, according to ee24.com with reference to the investmenteurope portal. Danskebank experts claim that in August 2013 prices rose by 1.3% compared with July. This means that after a three-month fall in prices, August was the second month in a row, in which the property has increased in value.

Compared with August of the last year, prices rose by 0.9%, but compared with the top figures in December 2006 the real estate in Denmark is still 22.1% cheaper. Thus, the average property in Denmark increased by DKK 15,000 (€2,000) per year and costs approximately €223,000.

However, experts from several other organizations refuse to confirm the information provided by Danskebank. The final conclusion about the beginning of the recovery of real estate market in Denmark can be made no earlier than the fourth quarter of this year.
