Danes will build a ski resort on the waste recycling plant

On the roof of a waste recycling plant on the outskirts of Copenhagen will have artificial snow slopes with trails of varying difficulty. Their length will be 1.5 km. From the roof will be open views of Copenhagen and Amager, which is located near the Denmark capital. Also there can be built an ice rink, karting club and even a climbing wall, ee24.com reports.

The Danish architectural firm BIG made the modernization project of recycling plant. Besides the basic functions there will be a shopping center, a hotel and restaurants. Not be dismissed even residential areas.

Factory pipe will please the eye of residents and tourists: thanks to a special piston it would produce smoke rings that glow in the dark.

According designboom.com, complex area of 10,000 sq.m will be put into operation in 2017.
