LEGO Group, a well-known manufacturer of plastic children's kits, began construction of a new headquarters in the Danish town of Billund. The new building, LEGO House, will look as house of plastic bricks, the ee24.com portal reports.
Bjarke Ingels, 39, the head of BIG (Bjarke Ingels Group), is an architect of new LEGO House. He used constructor sets of LEGO in the designing process. Its total area is equal to 12,000 sq.m. The building will not be purely office: there will be centers of children's creativity, a platform for children to play, a big museum.
LEGO House will be built in 2014-2016.

Billund is a home city of LEGO Group, the world-famous company from 1960. At the moment, there are located not only the company's management and production facilities, but also a grand themed children's park Legoland.
