European luxury resorts are leading in the world rating

Recently Savills has released the autumn rating of 2013. Resorts in France, Italy and Switzerland are recognized as one of the most luxury places in the world, according to ee24.com citing savills.co.uk.

Prime Enclave Index is based on the average cost of real estate, the highest cost of hotel room and the interest of consumers. Nine of twenty listed resorts are located in Europe.

French Riviera took the main prize. It is the most expensive resort in the world. Its warm climate and good location near Nice and Monaco make us sure that real estate in Cote d'Azur  will remain expensive in the future. According to the authors of the rating, the most exclusive destination on the shore is the Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat. It has 500 villas and 2 thousand inhabitants, including co-founder of Microsoft Paul Allen and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber.

Costa Smeralda in Italy was ranked 2nd. Portal ee24.com recently wrote about luxury real estate in Sardinia. Costa Smeralda means the biggest yachts, exclusive resorts and villas. The market shows a slow but steady growth despite the crisis.
