About the project


The residence U svatého Václava is named after the church of St. Wenceslas Square, which dominates the Swatopluk Cech square. The house was completed in 1910 and has undergone extensive renovations to fit the conditions for modern living. The interiors have been processed, the floor plans have been adapted and the technical properties of the selected structures have been improved. There was also a reconstruction of the common parts of the house, using existing elements such as decorative tiles, replicas of the entrance doors, new windows were installed, the facade was insulated, and a hydraulic lift was installed, which was connected to intermediate platforms. A central gas boiler house was also built and the basements located on the 1st floor were renovated. The apartments have French windows facing the courtyard, the façade is ocher. Their layout solution is 1 + kk - 4 + kk. Each apartment has a south-facing balcony to the courtyard.
