Decrease in consumer prices was recorded in Cyprus

Consumer prices in Cyprus in July 2013 decreased by 0.3% compared to July 2014 and by 1.46% compared to June 2013. In turn, in June 2013, prices rose by a symbolic 0.1% compared to May 2013. Over the last four months, prices in Cyprus has been declining for a third time, informs the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

The prices of clothes, shoes, airline tickets, electricity, fruits and vegetables have decreased.

In general, from January to July 2013, prices rose by 0.5% compared to the same period of 2012. This suggests that the economic situation in the country is stabilizing. But the the property market in Cyprus still has problems.
