Cyprus real estate transactions have increased almost twice

According to the latest data from the Department of Lands & Surveys of Cyprus, the number of real estate transactions in the first summer month has increased by 42% year on year. Positive trend continues for a long period. In may, home sales, land and commercial premises have gone up by 17%, in April by 35%.


In June it was realized 657 transactions. 70% (462) purchases made by the residents of Cyprus, the share of foreigners accounted for 30% (195). Most notably sales increased in Famagusta (+64%) and the capital of Cyprus, Nicosia (+61%).


Transactions involving foreigners have increased by 49%, sales in the local market increased by 39%.
