For 3 years the cost of one-bedroom apartments in the Bulgarian resort of Bansko has decreased by 57% and is now within the €13,000 - €79,200, according to ee24.com with reference to the Bulgarian media. The three-room apartments fell by only 3% and cost €12,500 - €120,000. A studio in the resort town costs about €7,000.
The experts noted a revival of the market of ski resorts in Bulgaria this summer. And the demand arose not only from the traditionally active Russians, but also from Bulgarians themselves. However, even in such a situation the bid exceeds the demand, which leads to further reduce in costs.
The prices on the Borovets resort are on a higher level than in Bansko, but also reduced. The studio is available for €19,740 - €74,000, two-bedroom apartments - for €25,144 - €78,000 and two-bedroom - for €50,000 - €202,300.
The slowest decrease rates are in Pamporovo. One-bedroom apartments are cheaper by 15% and the three-room by one-fifth. A studio in this resort town is €13,700 - €50,000 and two-bedroom apartment - €22,400 - €76,700.
Experts believe that the main negative factor for the Bulgarian resort real estate market is the disgusting state of the infrastructure. Worst of all things are in Bansko, where are poor roads and troubles with sewage. The problem of Borovets is a bad road leading to Sofia. However, Borovets boasts a low density development, as well as the resort of Pamporovo.
