This brand new jungle community is the only managed rental community in Cayo. It resides at an apex between the Xunantunich and Cahal Pech Maya sites and is adjacent to the top luxury resorts in the area. The 62-acre residential resort sits within a 165-acre reserve, 700 feet above sea level providing each carefully positioned residential site with infinity views above the jungle canopy of the Maya Flats and Maya Mountains. Travel conveniently between key destinations in Belize including the cayes and international airport via the nearby Maya Flats municipal airstrip.
The Cayo District in Belize provides an amazing quality of life surrounded by nature. In this higher altitude, moderate temperatures prevail year-round with warm days and cool nights. Cayo life is one of filled with relaxation, good food, healthy mountain air, and great people. Though the area has a growing tourism market, it feels anything but touristy. Locals mix easily with visitors and foreign residents, and friends are made quickly. The San Ignacio market has quickly become a weekend meeting place with an eclectic mix of fresh produce, food stalls, and odd wares for sale. Patrons also enjoy a number of picturesque restaurants and cafes on Burns Avenue. Typical weekend activities in Cayo include waterfall nature hikes, visiting the nearby Maya temples, canoeing, kayaking or paddle boarding down the river, or visiting a number of cave systems in the area.
