Belgium is the second most successful economies in the world in terms of attracting foreign direct investment, according to the ratings submitted by the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
Michael Hanni, co-author of the annual report of UNCTAD, said that the country attract an impressive amount of investment, both in absolute and relative terms. Flexible fiscal policy and the revised legislative framework governing the activities of foreign investors in Belgium contribute to its development.
The most impressive investment in the economy has become an investment of 72 000 000 000 euros. National Bank of Belgium announced revenue of 89 100 000 000 dollars. All this provide stable position on the world stage to the country.
