Property in Albania continued to fall in price in the second quarter of 2014, but the rate of decline in prices has slowed, according to ee24.com citing the Bank of Albania.
In annual terms the drop is 4.7%, in quarterly terms - 1.8%. Surprisingly, the rental price does not correlate with real estate prices: while the latter fall, the first increased by 5.1%.
Joining the European Union may become impetus to development of the housing market in Albania. This summer, the Albania gained long-awaited candidate status, so investors should respond to the positive changes in the third quarter.
