First house for allergic individuals was built in Zurich

"Clean house", 4-storey residential development for allergic people, was built in Zurich. It was constructed specially for people suffering from multiple chemical sensitivity, according to ee24.com citing RaiNews. Future tenants of 15 apartments have allergy to a variety of chemicals - paints, cosmetics and perfume, chlorinated water, plastics and so on.

Zurich authorities supported the project by providing land at concessional terms. The house was built without using of hazardous materials. To prevent allergens entry into apartments, there is a special disinfection room, where people can change clothes and shoes.

Applicants for renting apartments in "clean house" will have to provide a medical certificate on their disease. Future tenants won't be allowed to use cosmetics, mobile phones, wireless networks and microwave ovens in premises.
