For the fifth time in a row the organization World Economic Forum (WEF) has named Switzerland the most competitive country in the world. Singapore was ranked the second, while the third place went to Finland, reports ee24.com with reference to The Local.
Competitiveness ranking of countries is made each year. Countries are assessed on 12 indicators, which include rankings of national institutions, the level of development of infrastructure, macroeconomic environment, the development of health and education .
Switzerland was recognized for its "excellent institutions, the dynamism of markets and opportunities for innovation." Add ee24.com portal previously reported that the property market in Switzerland is in limbo because of the "law of Weber," and the creation of a "bubble" is possible. In addition, the decline in prices for houses in Geneva scares investors.
Six countries in the top ten are the European ones.
