"Collective suicide" in Switzerland is shaking the foundations of the united Europe

This week European politicians have commented the results of the referendum in Switzerland, reports ee24.com citing the European media. Recall that the people of this country voted for the introduction of quotas for foreigners who want to move to Switzerland, which is contrary to the free movement agreement with the EU.

Switzerland is known for its referendums, which are directed against the united Europe, international migration and the imposition of Islamic society norms. Recently foreigners were limited in the right to buy property in Switzerland.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel expressed dissatisfaction over the results of the last referendum that "closed the country" to foreigners. According to her, the Swiss authorities will have to make a new immigration law based on the results of popular vote, and at the same time continue to maintain close relations with the EU.

Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn said that Switzerland could not have perquisites on the European market, after it has limited the rights of free movement of citizens of neighboring countries. And the French minister of industry Arnaud Montebur even said that the decision of Swiss people was a "collective suicide."
