According to the Ministry of Development, this spring a square meter in Spain was worth €1,459, which means that a small standard house with three bedrooms and a total area of 90 sq.m was available for €131,310. A similar house in France is worth €202,500 (€2,250 per sq.m), in Italy - €190,710 (€2,119 per sq.m).
It is worth noting that property is becoming cheaper in all three listed countries. According to Eurostat, in Q1 2014 housing in Spain has become more affordable by 1.6%, in France - by 1.4%, in Italy - 4.5% year on year.
