The Velasco castle (Castillo de los Velasco) in Spain, which combines tradition and modern technologies, put up for sale for €3 million, informs Noticia.ru. Castle was built in the XIV century and located in the Lezana de Mena municipality (Burgos province).
There are many modern facilities: an automatic cleaning system (centralized dust suction system), lift on four floors, high speed internet, economical central heating and water. Modern technologies have been introduced into the castle during the renovation in 2006, which the castle's owner Eduardo Gil Lang carried out.
Area of the building is 600 sq.m, terraces – 100 sq.m, total area of the territory – 22,000 sq.m.
From the Middle Ages there are a weapons yard, a drawbridge, a tower and a unique collection of interesting things, collected by Eduardo Gil Lang: medals, crosses of his ancestors, commemorative coins, bundles of old documents, etc.
