The experts agreed on the future of Spain

The experts believe that in 2014 the number of house sales in Spain will increase, according to ee24.com citing kyero.com.

In October 2013, the number of transactions dropped by 10% year on year, to 22,770. Number of mortgage loans decreased by 23.2%, to 14,704. Nevertheless, the majority of professionals working in Spanish market, are optimistic in their forecasts for 2014.

Jones Lang LaSalle Spanish property prices will hit the bottom in 2014 and then they will stabilize for a while
Banco Santander  The demand has hit the bottom in 2013, and there are many signs that we'll see a slight increase of sales in 2014
Bankia The housing market will be in better position than in 2013, while sales of houses and apartments will increase
Banco Sabadell Reported an increase in home sales in 2013 compared with 2012

Recall that the experts interviewed by ee24.com were also optimistic speaking about Spanish property market.

Eduard Gulyan, managing partner of SeaBestLand:

"One and a half years ago, good properties ceased to fall in price. All good commercial properties with a guaranteed margin of 6% are being sold instantly. Property market in Spain really works. The government announced that Spain had withdrawn from the recession, and the European Union has confirmed it. But we already knew it and we felt it.

The market is different. There are huge residential developments without infrastructure in Costa Blanca, where prices continue to fall, and there is good real estate in Port Aventura, 40 minutes from Barcelona, with a guaranteed income. Such properties are being sold out immediately."

Iain Tozer, CEO of SeaBestLand:

"Many realtors report that sales have reached the level of 2007. This is one of the indicators of the market. Now the market is much more active than in 2011. Speaking of predictions for the coming years, we've had 6 years of recession, and now I think we are entering in 5-6 years of stability and of a smooth price increase."
