Company SAREB, engaged in restructuring the banks' assets nationalized by the government of Spain, put up for sale 35 castles of different ages. Like other objects of this type, they are sold at reduced prices, according to ee24.com citing espanarusa.com.
One of them, Castle in Huesca province, built in the XI century, costs €500,000. Of course, the purchase amount does not include the cost of the restoration of the object. And for the Palace in Palma de Mallorca one will have to pay €2.8 million. The palace complex consists of four buildings with a total area of 712 sq.m and a spacious parking area of 85 sq.m.
In the same place in Mallorca, just six kilometers from Palma, in the municipality of Marratxí there is a large manor house with an area of 3759 sq.m and a spacious plot, that spreads out on 50 acres. The cost of this splendor is €2.9 million.
To advance these facilities the company published a catalog with 35 ancient castles and manors, which was called "Paramount", thanks to the "cinematic" appearance of objects.
It is worth noting that recently the sale of monuments has become a popular measure for patching holes in the budgets of some countries. Thus, the portal ee24.com wrote that Italy started selling historic buildings.
