Spanish Court ordered bulldozers to demolish part of the villa belonging to the star couple Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith. Trial around luxurious villa La Gaviota ("The Seagull") in Marbella endured more than ten years.
Authorities of Marbella will demolish wall, blocking the way to the sea, and through the site will continue municipal road to the beach, reports the Spanish media. Antonio Banderas will lose part of the garden area of 12.5 acres, but will get a new wall separating his possession and the road.
Banderas and Griffith paid for a property in Spain about 5.79 million euros in 1997 and then received permission to expand the villa. In 2003, the Court declared invalid permit issued, and in 2009, decided that part of the villa was built illegally.
