A new trend is raising in Spain. More and more tourists stay overnight in hotels located in hanging on trees houses ee24.com reports with reference to the Spanish media.
Despite the fact that the hanging houses have no electricity or running water, they are regularly being used by up to 7,000 tourists every year. And although most of the guests stay these homes only for one night, the impressions are very positive. Moreover, some guests are even willing to invest in the construction of houses of this type.
Spanish ecotourism experts believe that the growing popularity of such hotels is due to the modern urban residents desire to run away from the bondage of information networks. Within cities, or even in modern country hotels it is simply impossible. Therefore, the demand for remote from civilization destinations is getting higher.
The opportunity to live in the hanging houses is nowadays provided in only four Spanish autonomies - Madrid, Basque Country, Catalonia and Castile-La-Mancha.
