Army without home. Serbia sells barracks

Unusual property in Serbia was put up for sale: within the next 15 days authorities are waiting for applications from those wishing to purchase 26 barracks and warehouses that are no longer needed for the army, reports ee24.com citing ekapija.com. The price is €23 million.

Military bases throughout Serbia are offered for sale, including those in the cities of Cacak, Subotica, Vrsac, Aleksinac, Novi Sad and others. The territory of one of them was bombed during the NATO invasion to Yugoslavia in the spring of 1999. But the Serbian military left the location, and all the explorations to detect and deactivation of mines explosive devices must be conducted by buyer. Military property is for sale in the format "as it is", i.e. without any further complaints.

Barracks is not the most exotic offer. Among the most unusual properties for sale were airport in Spain, Isle of the dead in Italy, and fortress in Latvia.
